Vehicle recycling, retrofitting, EV batteries and circular mobility.
The transition to sustainable mobility is not only about new vehicles, but also about making smarter use of what already exists. That is precisely why Febelauto will be participating in the Autotechnica trade fair in March: to show how circularity is already taking shape in the automotive and recycling sectors.
With a retrofitted and restored Ford Taunus, created in collaboration with students from Thomas More University College, we are illustrating the principle of retrofitting in practice. By electrifying existing vehicles equipped with combustion engines and restoring them with used car parts, we are extending their lifespan, reducing CO2 emissions and limiting the need for new raw materials.
In addition, we pay particular attention to the sustainable recycling of vehicles and electric vehicle batteries. A large EV battery on display at the stand and an exciting Mobility Talks information session will enable visitors to the show to understand the importance of recycling and reusing batteries, how to handle them safely, and the legal obligations of automotive companies.
In short, at Autotechnica, we want to inspire industry professionals and students to structurally embed circularity in their thinking and actions. Because the mobility of tomorrow is not only built on innovation, but also on conservation, reflection and reuse.
